National Night Out - Georgia St.

                                           

          

Tuesday August 3rd was one very busy night for the citizens of Vallejo. Over 40 different areas throughout the town were buzzing with National Night Out activities. Large or small groups, it didn't matter, the phrase for the day was (community building equals solidarity). Fighting Back Partnership staff, along with McGruff, The Crime Fighting Dog went throughout Vallejo to support and encourage neighborhoods to come out and meet each other inside their area.

To say the annual National Night Out Against Crime was a success is an understatement. Over 2000 residents and business owners participated in this year’s event. The citizens in Vallejo are sending a loud and clear message, we are standing together, uniting, organized, and supporting our neighborhoods. In this time of adversity, the citizens of Vallejo will not tolerate criminal behavior. We will be taking ownership of our neighborhoods.
