Calendar Art Contest

Annual Calendar Contest 

Fighting Back Partnership is a non-profit organization committed to preventing and ending poverty and its effects in Vallejo and throughout Solano County. For over 20 years, we have hosted a city-wide annual Calendar Art Contest. Youth ages 4-18, enter their artwork with a chance to be featured on our calendar. Generous prizes are also awarded to winners and participants! 

This year’s theme is “Vallejo’s Superhero! If Vallejo had a Superhero, what would they be known for? Do you know a Superhero in the community?” The deadline for submissions is May 31st; see flier for details and eligibility. Click Here for details

The Eric Reyes Foundation is a non-profit organization that aims to engage with at-risk youth through community involvement. The organization works to inspire students with academic resources and empower students to achieve their full potential to change the future. They empower students to achieve their full potential.

Solano Dream Center (SDC) is a faith-based, but not faith required, non-profit corporation that assists homeless individuals in getting off the streets, meet their basic essentials of life for shelter, food and health, and provide a supportive path to restoration and increased self-reliance. Their mission is to help all individuals and to help break the homeless cycles. They provide case management, job and life skill building opportunities, and multiple temporary shelter opportunities with food and showers included.
