More than 200 students from eight Solano County schools came together for the Solano Youth Advocacy & Social Entrepreneurship Summit, a day dedicated to giving young people the tools to identify challenges in their communities, develop solutions, and use their voices to create meaningful change.
Fighting Back Partnership was proud to collaborate on the summit, helping students explore social entrepreneurship as a way to turn ideas into action. From mental health and school nutrition to teacher pay, inclusivity, and access to music and art programs, students worked across schools to think critically, collaborate, and present solutions to real issues affecting their communities.
The Times Herald recently highlighted the summit and the students, educators, mentors, and community partners who made the day possible.
